Agawa Canyon & Sudbury

Welcome Aboard! Our adventure begins as we travel to one of the most beautiful places in Northern Ontario, Sault Ste. Marie. Next day, the Agawa Canyon Tour Train transports us 114 miles north of Sault Ste. Marie on a one-day wilderness excursion over towering trestles, alongside pristine Northern lakes, through granite rock formations, and vast forests of the Canadian Shield. On our third day heading to Sudbury, we drive through spectacular fall scenery, natural attractions, and stop for incredible photo opportunities. First, we visit the Trading Post Shop in Espanola before we head to Science North, an ever-popular interactive science museum that is shaped like two snowflakes. As we head into the heart of Sudbury, we view beautiful murals including the Alex Trebek mural done on the High School he attended. The Big Nickel and Stompin’ Tom Connors Statue are monuments in the city that you must see. On our final day heading home we stop at the Mariposa Market in Orillia to satisfy our sweet tooth and bring home their tasty treats.
