Tour Details

She sells seashells by the seashore. With the prospect of seeing whales on the horizon we travel into the great state of Massachusetts where we will devote our time to visiting some amazing locations. We will spend 4 nights in Hyannis while dedicating the days touring Sandwich, Martha’s Vineyard, Provincetown, and Nantucket. We then commence the journey home with a tour of Boston, shopping in the Quincy Market and a special Fireplace Feast at the Salem Cross Inn before making our way back into Ontario. Do not forget to bring your camera as surely you will want pictures of the pristine sandy beaches, brightly painted gingerbread cottages, lighthouses, and of course, a shot of yourself having the vacation of a lifetime. We bet it looks good on you. A valid Canadian passport is required for this tour.

Day 1September 17, 2022 - Depart for Cape Cod

Today we depart for our Cape Cod & Boston Adventure! We will cross the border, arrive in New York, and check into the Fairfield Inn East Greenbush for a 1-night stay. Dinner is on your own.

Day 2September 18, 2022 - Arrive in Cape Cod (B/D)

Enjoy an included breakfast before we depart New York. Prior to lunch, we will arrive at the sandy shores of Cape Cod. A local guide will meet us just before lunch (on your own) in a town called, Sandwich – the oldest town in Cape Code. After that, you will view the Great Salt Marsh, a Cranberry bog, and Cape Cod Nay on your way to Hyannis, where you will explore the John F. Kennedy Family. After a long day, you will check into the Hampton Inn Cape Cod and enjoy an included dinner.

Day 3September 19, 2022 - Woods Hold (B/D)

Enjoy an included breakfast and then meet your local guide in the lobby for a full day of exploring Woods Hole. This is home to the center of discovery of the HMS Titanic, the world-renowned Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, and the national headquarters of the international wildlife coalition. Hop onto the Steamship Authority Ferry to the island of Martha’s Vineyard and enjoy a tour by a local guide. There will be free time for lunch in the historic whaling town of Edgartown. Complete your day on the island in Oak Bluffs strolling through “Cottage City” with its brightly painted cottages and decorative “gingerbread” trim. Dinner is included in the evening!

Day 4September 20, 2022 - Nantucket Island (B/D)

Meet your local guide in the hotel lobby and depart for a day of exploring on Nantucket Island! Upon arrival, you will be shown different restaurants, galleries, shops, and museums that are within walking distance of the dock. Lunch and shopping will be on your own. Depart the island and head back to the hotel for an included dinner.

Day 5September 21, 2022 - Cape Cod (B/D)

After breakfast, your local guide will be waiting for you in the hotel lobby for a full day of touring. You will travel the historic route 6A, the Old Kings Highway, which is a scenic byway winding through centuries of Cape Cod History. View a windmill, a Cape Cod Lighthouse and visit the Cape Cod National Seashore Visitors Centre. Lunch will be on your own this afternoon. You will then board a vessel for an amazing experience of whale watching. Try to spot Humpbacks and Fin whales going about their daily business. If you do not want to participant in this excursion, you can try the Dune tour which is a ride though the protected lands of Cape Cod National Seashore.

Day 6September 22, 2022 - Boston (B/D)

We travel to Boston and explore the city where America’s roots were formed. Your local guide will point sights along the Freedom trail, Back Bay, Beacon Hill, and the gold-dome State House. There will be time to stroll the public gardens and enjoy free time for lunch and shopping at the historic Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall. We will check-in at the Southbridge Hotel. Then, we will visit the historical Salem Cross Inn. Settle in as their baker prepares a deep-dish apple pie from scratch right before your eyes using apples picked from the trees in Boston’s local orchards. Then, let the fireplace feast begin! Enjoy some of New England’s best meals and enjoy your last evening.

Day 7September 23, 2022 - Depart Boston (B)

Depart for home!
