With the prospect of seeing whales on the horizon we travel into the great state of Massachusetts where we will devote our time to visiting some amazing locations. We will spend 4 nights in Hyannis while dedicating the days touring Sandwich, Martha’s Vineyard, Provincetown, and Nantucket. We then commence the journey home with a tour of Boston, shopping in the Quincy Market and a special Fireplace Feast at the Salem Cross Inn before making our way back into Ontario. Do not forget to bring your camera as surely you will want pictures of the pristine sandy beaches, brightly painted gingerbread cottages, lighthouses, and of course, a shot of yourself having the vacation of a lifetime. We bet it looks good on you. A valid Canadian passport is required for this tour.

Today we depart for our Cape Cod & Boston Adventure! We will cross the border, arrive in New York, and check into the Fairfield Inn East Greenbush for a 1-night stay. Dinner is on your own – the Cracker Barrel is close by!
Enjoy an included breakfast before we depart for the sandy shores of Cape Cod! A local guide will meet us just before lunch (on your own) for a guided tour starting in Sandwich – which will include a view of the Great Salt Marsh, a local Cranberry bog, and Cape Cod Bay on your way to Hyannis. In Hyannis you will get to see the John F. Kennedy Memorial, the Korean War Memorial, Hyannisport and St. Francis Xavier Church – the summer parish of the Kennedy Family. After a long day we will check into the Holiday Inn Hyannis and enjoy an included dinner.
Enjoy an included breakfast before a full day of exploring Woods Hole – home to the center of discovery of the HMS Titanic, the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution and the national headquarters of the international wildfire coalition. Hop on the Steamship Authority Ferry to Martha’s Vineyard and enjoy a tour with our local guide. There will be free time for lunch in the historic whaling town of Egartown. Complete your day on the island in Oak Bluffs strolling through “Cottage City” with its brightly painted cottages and decorative “gingerbread” trim. Dinner is included in the evening!
After breakfast, we will depart for a full day of touring. We will travel the historic route 6A – a scenic byway winding through centuries of Cape Cod’s history. View a Windmill, a Cape Cod Lighthouse and the Cape Cod National Seashore Visitors Centre. After lunch on your own, we will depart in the afternoon for an amazing whale watching experience! Try to spot many different species of whales going about their daily business. If you do not want to participate in this excursion you can opt to stay on land with a Dune Tour through the protected lands of the Cape Cod National Seashore. Dinner is included this evening!
This morning we will meet our local guide and ferry across to Nantucket Island! Upon arrival you will be shown different restaurants, shops and museums that are within walking distance of the dock. Lunch and shopping will be on your own this afternoon before departing the island and heading back to the hotel for an included dinner.
We travel to Boston and explore the city where America’s roots were formed. Your local guide will point sights along the Freedom trail, Back Bay, Beacon Hill, and the gold-dome State House. There will be time to stroll the public gardens and enjoy free time for lunch and shopping at the historic Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall. We will check-in at the Southbridge Hotel. Then, we will visit the historical Salem Cross Inn. Settle in as their baker prepares a deep-dish apple pie from scratch right before your eyes using apples picked from the trees in Boston’s local orchards. Then, let the fireplace feast begin! Enjoy some of New England’s best meals and enjoy your last evening.
Today we will enjoy an included breakfast and then begin our journey home. We will return to our original pickup points with sand in our shoes, seashells in our pockets and memories in our hearts of an amazing trip to Cape Cod!
