New York City is known by many nicknames, but the most popular one is “the Big Apple.” We will spend 4 nights in “the city that never sleeps” exploring all the famous NYC landmarks! Our tour will include a half day city tour, a boat cruise around Manhattan and lots of free time throughout the tour to explore the city at your own pace. Take in the city’s most famed attractions, incredible cuisines, shopping, and more! You may even opt to see a broadway show while you’re there! You will also receive breakfast daily, all accommodations, deluxe highway motor coach transportation throughout, a Cardinal/Lakeshore Tour Director and much more! This is a fairly active tour and will require some mobility to walk to the city. A valid Canadian passport is also required for this tour.

Day 1 – Monday May 27, 2024 | Depart for New York City
Today we will board the coach and depart from our pre-selected pickup points to make our way to New York City! Today is a travel day so sit back and relax! We will make rest stops along the way including a stop for lunch. Upon arrival in New York City, we will check into our hotel and the evening will be at leisure to relax and grab dinner.
Day 2 – Tuesday May 28, 2024 | New York City (B)
This morning we will have an included breakfast at the hotel before departing for a guided tour of Manhattan. Highlights of todays tour include Central Park, and Ground Zero. We will also pass by the Empire State Building, Chrysler Building, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, City Hall, the Bronze Bull Statue on Wall St and much more! This tour will give you a broad overview of the city and you will have free time later on to go back and spend more time in the places that caught your attention!
Day 3 – Wednesday May 29, 2024 | New York City (B, L)
After breakfast this morning, we will depart for 2.5 hour guided cruise around Manhattan! This cruise will navigate all three NYC rivers, pass under 20 bridges and see over 130 of the city’s most iconic landmarks including the Manhattan skyline, Little Island, Hudson Yards, One World Trade Center, Brooklyn Bridge and downtown Brooklyn, Yankee Stadium, the George Washington Bridge and, of course, an up close look at the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island! The cruise will also include a boxed lunch! After our cruise we will return to the hotel where you will have the day at leisure!
Day 4 – Thursday May 30, 2024 | New York City (B)
Today is a free day to explore the city on your own! Now that you have gotten a chance to see the highlights, now is the time to go revisit the places that caught your interest. Head to the top of the Rock for sprawling views of the city. Perhaps head to the famous Canal Street or the iconic Macy’s store for some shopping. You may also opt to see a broadway show. The city is yours to explore!
Day 5 – Friday May 31, 2024 | New York City – Home (B)
After breakfast at the hotel this morning, we will depart the hotel and begin our journey home. We will make plenty of rest stops along the way including a lunch break and duty free shopping on the US side. Our bus will return us to our original pickup locations before bidding us farewell.
