Springtime in Warkworth

Come with us today to Warkworth to enjoy the smells and flavours of springtime.

On our first stop we stroll alongside flowering lilacs on a self-guided tour of the Millenium Lilac Trail where you will immerse yourself in purple, pink, and white blooms of over 300 bushes in 70 different varieties. After our morning walk, we’ll relax and enjoy an included lunch at the beautiful Warkworth Golf Club. We continue our journey on to Robins’ Nest Farm Market, a country store and bakeshop all rolled into one. Ready for purchase are a variety of homemade pies, muffins, local cheeses, jams and jellies, homemade meals, and a selection of meats; maybe you’ll find something to take home for dinner! Our next stop will be sure to satisfy your sweet tooth! Centre and Main Chocolate is an upscale chocolate boutique with handcrafted chocolate in many different flavours. Our last stop is at Douglas Morlock Blacksmith where we will be given a demonstration of hand-forged ironwork and a very interesting talk to round out our day.
