Days 1-2: February 8–9, 2025 | Overnight Flight

Board our coach to the airport for an overnight connecting flight. We will cross the International Dateline on our way to Australia, where our tour begins! Flight times TBD.

Day 3: February 10, 2025 | Melbourne (D)

Welcome to Melbourne, Australia – a city exuding a lively and cosmopolitan atmosphere. Enjoy a group dinner on arrival to bond with your fellow travellers.

Day 4: February 11, 2025 | Melbourne (B)

Set out on a city tour this morning, including a guided walk of the famed Royal Botanic Gardens. After, we’ll head to Phillip Island Conservation Centre, where you’ll visit koalas in their natural setting. Finish with a visit to the nature reserve that houses the world’s largest colony of Little Penguins!

Day 5: February 12, 2025 | Melbourne – Hobart (B, D)

Today we’ll fly to Hobart, Tasmania – Australia’s second oldest city. This island province surrounded by more than 300 isles, provides the backdrop for the next 3 nights.

Day 6: February 13, 2025 | Hobart (B)

This morning you’ll enjoy a walking tour of the city followed by some free time to explore Hobart on your own. This afternoon, you’ll also visit the Tasmanian Devil Conservation Centre and learn about this unique marsupial, and the plan to save it from extinction. You’ll also tour the Port Arthur Historic Site and witness the coastal rock formations of Tasman Arch, Devil’s Kitchen, and the Blow Hole!

Day 7: February 14, 2025 | Hobart (B)

Enjoy a free day in Tasmania’s capital city on your own. Indulge in the city’s up-and-coming café culture, meander along the lively harbour, or just take some time to relax.

Day 8: February 15, 2025 | Hobart – Adelaide (B, D)

Fly to Adelaide, Australia’s bustling cosmopolitan capital for the next two nights.

Day 9: February 16, 2025 | Adelaide – Barossa Valley – Adelaide (B, L)

Treat your taste buds to a full-day exploration of the Barossa Valley’s fine food and wine including a lunch and wine tastings. Today you’ll explore the treasure trove of historical buildings and spectacular surroundings.

Day 10: February 17, 2025 | Adelaide – Uluru (B)

This morning, make your way to Uluru (Ayers Rock) in the heart of the Australian Outback’s beautiful surrounding area. Finish your day with a glass of champagne watching the sun set.

Day 11: February 18, 2025 | Uluru – Cairns (B)

Before your departure, opt to partake in an optional camel ride, taking in the magnificent Uluru at sunrise. Fly to Cairns, the tropical gateway to one of the world’s most spectacular natural attractions – the Great Barrier Reef.

Day 12: February 19, 2025 | Cairns (B, D) 

Rise high on the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway for an unforgettable ride over the rainforest canopy and explore the forest floor up close. This evening enjoy dinner at a local restaurant featuring native cuisine.

Day 13: February 20, 2025 | Cairns – Great Barrier Reef – Cairns (B, L)

Board a catamaran and sail to Green Island to discover the Great Barrier Reef. Here you can choose from a selection of included activities like snorkelling or taking a guided heritage trail walk along the island!

Fly to the dynamic city of Sydney. This evening, personalize your dining experience by choosing from a variety of local restaurants for an included dinner in Darling Harbour.

Head to Rotorua’s geothermal landscape. Find culture behind every corner – over 1/3 of Rotura’s population boasts Maori roots, making it the Maori capital of New Zealand.

Today we’ll explore an authentic Maori village where people live using natural geothermal resources. Later, watch a sheep-shearing demonstration and learn about the importance of agriculture to the nation.

Day 20: February 27, 2025 | Rotorua – Wellington (B, D)

Make your way to Wellington, New Zealand’s capital city and the world’s southernmost capital city. Enjoy free time and a group dinner this evening.

Day 21: February 28, 2025 | Wellington (B)

Enjoy a city tour that includes New Zealand’s Parliament, St. Paul’s Church, the Old Government Building and more. Explore the Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongawera dedicated to art, history and the Maori culture.

Day 22: March 1, 2025 | Wellington – Picton – Christchurch (B, D)

Experience “the most beautiful ferry ride in the world” sailing the Cook Strait to historic Christchurch. Enjoy some free time to stroll through the city’s gardens or learn about its recent history at the Quake City exhibition.

Day 23: March 2, 2025 | Christchurch (B)

Enjoy a city tour where visiting the city’s magnificent gardens and the Willowbank Wildlife Reserve for a chance to view New Zealand’s “Big 5”. Later enjoy a paddle on the Avon River in a traditional Maori canoe or ‘waka’.

Make your way to Queenstown, nicknamed the “Adventure Capital of the World.” Nestled on Lake Wakatipu, Queenstown is surrounded by stunning natural beauty.

Enjoy the rugged grandeur of the Hollyford Valley on your way to cruise the breathtaking Milford Sound and see why this fjord is one of the most visited sights on the South Island. This evening will be free in Queenstown!

Today is a full free day in Queenstown and the last day in New Zealand. Tonight, gather with your fellow travellers for a farewell dinner and toast to a fabulous trip!

Day 27-28 : March 6-7, 2025 | Queenstown – Toronto (B)

Your tour comes to a close in Queenstown. Board your flight home to Toronto which will land a day later. Here our coach will await to return us to our original pickup locations!

Cancellations received before November 30, 2024 will result in a loss of all deposits. Cancellations received November 30, 2024 or later are 100% non-refundable. Travel insurance is highly recommended and available in office. A valid Canadian Passport is required for this tour. Guests are also responsible for obtaining Australian & New Zealand Visas. Please note that this is an active tour and may involve long days. We suggest you are able to: Walk 4-5 km over the course of a day with no problem, can partake in a two-hour leisurely walking tour covering up to 3km (with included breaks), handle a variety of terrains and moderate hills without assistance and climb two flights of stairs with ease.
