WILKOMMEN to Frankenmuth!

The city’s name is a combination of two words, the Kingdom of Bavaria where the original settlers came from and the German word for courage, thus Frankenmuth meaning “Courage of the Franconians”. We’re off for some weekday shopping, so there will be smaller crowds than on weekends. We will spend 2 nights at the Bavarian Inn Lodge with breakfast included each morning. Bring your swimsuit and enjoy their indoor pool. We will visit Bronner’s Christmas Wonderland with over 300 decorated trees and 6000 styles of ornaments. We will return after dark to 25 Christmas Lane for the holiday display of 100,000 lights. Enjoy some shopping time on the last day at Walmart, Kohl’s and Target in Port Huron. Be sure to take home some Frankenmuth fudge made from original recipes. Pack your appetite and we’re off to Michigan’s Little Bavaria.

Day 1: Depart to Frankenmuth (D)

Board our coach at your designated pickup location this morning as we make our way to Frankenmuth. We will make comfort stops along the way which will include a chance to grab lunch (on your own). On arrival in Frankenmuth, we will check into the Bavarian Inn Lodge. The inn has 4 indoor pools so make sure to bring proper swimming attire. There will be an included dinner with live entertainment to enjoy while eating.

Day 2: Tour of Frankenmuth, Christmas Activities and more (B, D)

This morning, enjoy an included buffet breakfast at the Bavarian Inn. We will set off for a tour of Frankenmuth including the Silent Night Memorial Chapel, Bronner’s Christmas Wonderland and the Musical Tree. You can choose to take part in pretzel rolling at the Bavarian Inn as well. There will be German Wine tasting and cheese & crackers along with authentic German cuisine back at the Bavarian Inn Restaurant. Optional Christmas activities on your own include the Fantasy Carriage Ride, the Frankenmuth Historical Museum or the glorious, stained-glass windows of the St. Lorenz Lutheran Church.

Day 3: Depart Home + Shopping Stops Along the Way (B)

Enjoy one last buffet breakfast at the Bavarian Inn prior to our 8:30 am departure for home. There will be a short stop for some pre-Christmas shopping, and we will leave the area around 2:30 pm. Our final shopping stop will be at the American Duty Free. Once we’ve cleared Canadian Customs, we will proceed to our respective drop off locations. A comfort stop will be provided in the Cambridge area, and we should be home by the early evening.

A deposit of $100.00 is due at the time of booking. Final payment will be due 45 days prior to departure. All payments are non- refundable if you cancel on your own terms.
