I Love Lucy & The National Comedy Center

Join us on a tour down memory lane to Jamestown, NY, the home of TV’s first couple of comedy – Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz. Your tour will include The Lucille Ball Desi Arnaz Museum which features an array of permanent and interactive exhibits, as well as a significant collection of the comedy duo’s personal belongings. You will have lunch at the Tropicana Club, a re-creation of the Tropicana Nightclub. Next will be a tour around Jamestown showing Lucy’s birthplace and childhood home and 5 larger-than-life murals of “America’s Favorite Redhead”. Lastly, we will visit The National Comedy Center. It’s a museum dedicated to the art of comedy, all of your favourite comedians and laughter. You will be staying for 2 nights at the Seneca Allegany Resort and Casino. Surrounded by the lush hills of the Allegheny mountains, incredible views are second only to the outstanding accommodations and service. Included in your stay will be breakfast, $100 free play per person and $40.00 per person dining credit. These credits will be put on your Seneca Allegany players card upon arrival.

All passengers must be 21 years of age for these credits.

Day 1: Depart to Jamestown

Board our coach at your designated pickup location this morning as we make our way to Jamestown, New York! We will make comfort stops along the way which will include a chance to grab lunch as well. On arrival in Jamestown, we will check in to the Seneca Allegany where we will spend the next 2 nights. The hotel has several amenities including a spa and a casino to enjoy during your stay. It also comes with an included $100 free play per person and a $40 food credit per person to spend. For the rest of the day, feel free to indulge in the benefits of the hotel by relaxing at the spa, having fun at the casino and grab dinner (on your own).

Day 2: Lucy Desi Museum & National Comedy Center (B, L)

This morning, enjoy an included breakfast at the hotel before we set out to the Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz Museum, which includes gift shops you can purchase from. The Lucille Ball Desi Arnaz Museum delves into the lives, careers, and enduring influence of the iconic “First Couple of Comedy,” showcasing the remarkable imprint they left on the world. It features exact re-creations of studio sets from the sitcom I Love Lucy, and even features costumes, props and awards from the show. An I Love Lucy themed lunch will be held at the Tropicana Club – a replica of Ricky Ricardo’s nightclub! Following lunch, we will take part in the “LucyTown Tour” with a Step-On guide. This showcases significant and historic places and venues throughout Jamestown, New York, that represent parts of Lucille Ball’s life and career. This includes I Love Lucy murals, to her schools, various places of residency, and her final resting place. Once we conclude the LucyTown Tour, we will visit the National Comedy Centre and Comedy Shop. It displays and documents comedy’s history and the artists, producers, writers, cartoonists, and other notable figures who have helped cultivate and influence its growth in the United States. Afterwards, we will return to the hotel where you can continue to relax, enjoy the amenities and grab some dinner on your own.

Day 3: Departure Home (B)

After an included breakfast this morning, there will be an optional shopping experience. You can decide to shop at various stores such as Walmart or Kohl’s or choose to stay back at the hotel. We will then check out of the hotel and start our journey back home. There will also be a stop at American Duty-Free shop before the border. We will provide comfort stops and a lunch stop during the trip home as well. Our coach will return to our designated pickup locations and bid you farewell!

A deposit of $100.00 is due at the time of booking. Final payment will be due 45 days prior to departure. All payments are non- refundable if you cancel on your own terms.
